ALBA AR3 IMSA GTP CAR EX-MOMO,
EX-GIANPIERO MORETTI - $500,000, OFFERS CONSIDERED
MASTERS ENDURANCE SERIES ELIGIBLE!
In 1983, popular Italian gentleman driver and MOMO founder Gianpiero Moretti turned to F1 engineer and designer Giorgio Stirano of Torino, Italy, to design a leading-edge GT Prototype for the 1984 IMSA Camel GT series. The result was the exotic Alba AR3-001, a sophisticated design that was the first GTP car to use an all carbon fiber tub, as well as Kevlar and carbon fiber composite bodywork, titanium firewall, chassis and suspension elements, and advanced F1-based ground-effects.
While its Cosworth 3.0L V-8 engine was no match for most of the competition, the Alba’s light weight (just 1,700 pounds) and superior aerodynamics made it a consistent top 10 contender. Piloted by the affable Moretti and conspicuous in its red and yellow MOMO livery, AR3-001 scored a seventh place finish at the Riverside 6 Hours on April 29, 1984, with co-driver Fulvio Ballabio, seventh place at Laguna Seca on May 6, fourth place at the Coca-Cola 500 at Lime Rock on May 28, and ninth place at the Watkins Glen 6 Hours on July 8, again with Ballabio as his co-driver.
It was then sold to Ira Young and Malibu Grand Prix for the 1985 season. Young had Clayton Cunningham Racing convert it to a Mazda 13B engine. It was driven by Jeff Kline and Jack Baldwin.
The current engine is 4.2 Liter Buick V-6. The Buick engine is fresh and is much easier to economically service than the Cosworth Ford DFL is. This car comes with a huge spares package and the owner is willing to consider offers.

SBARRO CAN AM - 180,000 EURO'S
This beautiful car is the creation of Italian designer Franco Sbarro founder of Sbarro Automobile,Grandson, Switzerland. The car looks very similar to the Lola T294 2 Liter Sports Racer. This car is one of 6 built. The engine is a 6.0 Liter Chevrolet producing 650HP. The gearbox is a Hewland DG400. It has Brembo brakes and 3 piece Aluminum wheels. Coyote Daytona prototype,
Porsche v-8 powered- $inquire
This Coyote Daytona Prototype was originally built in 2007 to use a Porsche V-8.Troy Fils from Spirit of Daytona would know every detail of the history but to the best of my knowledge, JC France was the driving force behind the Porsche V8 program. Being a part of the Nascar family, they preferred the sound of the V8 versus the standard 6 cylinder that the Porsche backed teams ran. Lazano Bros Porting built the engine out of a Porsche Cayenne V8. Porsche was not happy that they did it so Porsche would never recognize it as an actual Porsche powered vehicle!! That is probably what it is most known for a the car that pissed off Porsche. It still has the Porsche V8 in it but it has bellhousings for GM as well.
Guy Cosmo drove the car mostly but obviously there were a number of drivers that shared driving duty for the longer races. It was the AMA sponsored car which had three professional motorcycle riders race with Guy Cosmo in 2009 Daytona 24. Those riders were Scott Russell, Jason Pridmore and Jeff Ward. In 2010 or 2011, they switched to Chevy power with Guy Cosmo and Antonio Garcia as the main drivers.
It has a rather large spares package. This would be an excellent car for SVRA, HSR, Masters Endurance series or even just track days.
